AWANA

AWANA

AWANA Creek Kids

AWANA – an acronym intending to remind us that: “Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed”, brings the Truth of God’s Word to hundreds of children, ages 2-11, at Ivy Creek.  This International Children’s Outreach & Discipleship Program is offered here each Wednesday of the school year, from 6:30 – 8 pm. Each year we see children receive Christ as personal Savior, grow in love with Him and His Word, share their budding faith and “hide” hundreds upon hundreds of Bible verses in their hearts that they “may not sin against Him!!” On average, between 100-150 students & leaders, gather corporately for prayer, song, teaching, verse recitation, games and crafts. Highlights of the year also include our mission collections for Calvary Children’s Home, Operation Christmas Child and our Guatemala mission team and visits from Missionaries, Pastors and Special Guests! Most Wednesdays (school year)
