WHAT IS AWANA?

AWANA is a worldwide ministry focused on Bible-based evangelism and discipleship of children from ages 2-18.  For over 60 years, AWANA has purposed to reach kids, equip leaders and change the world.  With  approximately 400,000 leaders serving 3.7 million children in over 120 countries, AWANA truly has a front row seat to discipling our next generations.  AWANA is an acronym for Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed, taken from 2 Timothy 2:15.

AWANA at Ivy Creek serves children from 2 years old -5th grade on Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:00 pm.  While at AWANA, kids engage with adults called to disciple, memorize Scripture, learn Bible truths, play awesome games with their friends and grow to love Christ more!  Throughout the evening, kids rotate through a large group teaching time, small group discipleship times and game time.
