Ivy Creek Baptist Church has partnered with Hungry4Him to help support Pastor Benard’s Vision in providing boarding schools in 2 communities: Wachara and Ahero. In addition to monthly support, we support mission trips and various projects to help Pastor Benard provide for his schools and communities.

Projects
Chicken coop for Wachara
In 2018 Ivy Creek has sponsored the Chicken Coop Project. Pastor Benard’s vision was for the chickens to provide a protein source to the diets of children in the boarding schools as well as provide an income to support the salaries of teachers and the needs of the school. This project was completed in 2019 and is now a self-sustaining source of protein and income for the school.
Benard's Vision HighSchool
In Kenya, schools start from 1st through 7th grade. To attend high school, students must pay around $1,000 a year. Very few are fortunate to attend. Pastor Benard has worked hard to purchase more land and has started building a high school to ensure the children of his schools have hope for the future.
