I grew up in Lilburn, Georgia. I graduated from Shorter College in Rome, Georgia in 1995 with a degree in Psychology and Religion. After college, I moved out to Fort Worth, Texas to attend Southwestern Seminary where I graduated in 1999 with a Masters of Divinity. While in Seminary I worked with Young Life as well as Centrifuge Camps. I now live in Buford, Georgia with my wife, Danielle, and our two daughters, Kathryn (born in 2012) and Kaylee (born in 2014)
Over the last 14 plus years I have served as a Student Pastor at churches in Alabama, Florida and Georgia. Each step of my journey has prepared me for the next. I want to bring the idea of multi-generational ministry into the fabric of discipleship at Ivy Creek Baptist Church. Taking from Deuteronomy 6, we will grow together to recognize the greatness of God and to help parents be the spiritual leaders of their children. As in Titus 2, we will step across generational lines to help each other in this journey of life as we walk together in Christ.
