Sermon in a Sentence
Since we are in the last hour of a world filled with the false teachings of antichrists, we must abide in the Word of God and in the life of the Spirit of God which protect us from deception and lead us to eternal life.
Sermon Outline
1. The “last hour” of the world is marked by the continued rise of antichrists who depart from the church and orthodox Christian faith, deny that Jesus is the Christ, and attempt to deceive others with their heresy.
2. God’s appointed safeguards to protect us against deception and to lead us to eternal life are the anointing of the Spirit and the truth of God’s Word.
3. As God’s children, we must let God’s Word abide in us, and we must abide in the Spirit.
