Those who have experienced the new birth into the family of God will love their brothers and sisters, obey their Father’s commands, and claim victory over the world through their faith in Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
Sermon Outline
The tests of love, obedience and faith that give evidence of the new birth are not isolated from each other.
- Love Test: One who has been born of God will love God and others born of God.
- Obedience Test: One who has been born of God will willingly keep God’s commandments.
- Faith Test: One who has been born of God will believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God.
