Philip, the Ethiopian Eunuch, and the Gospel

Philip, the Ethiopian Eunuch, and the Gospel

SCRIPTURE REFERENCE:  Acts 8:26-40

SERMON IN A SENTENCE

Trusting that God is always at work and making ourselves available for His service, we proclaim the good news of the gospel of Jesus that overcomes what separates us from God and from each other and replaces our emptiness with fullness of joy.

SERMON OUTLINE

  1. God works behind the scenes to bring the good news to your attention.
  2. Though there may be many things that make us different from each other, the gospel is relevant to all of us.
  3. The Scriptures tell us that the gospel centers around Jesus and His sacrificial death.
  4. The good news will replace your emptiness with fullness of joy.
  5. Because the gospel is such good news, we must be ready and willing to tell others about it.
