Winter Wonderlights

We are so excited to offer a wonderful evening of enjoyment experiencing the lights and sounds at the UGA State Botanical Garden.  Total cost is $54 per person which includes bus transportation and a box dinner and beverage.  Our bus will depart the church parking lot on Friday evening, December 13, at 4:30 pm  for a fun-filled evening of fellowship.

The winter light show, presented by the UGA Office of the President, follows a half-mile fully accessible trail through a Winter Wondercave, along Jingle Bell Lane, into the Northern Lights and through a Cone Tree Forest, among other dazzling features.

Along the way, visitors can roast marshmallows for s’mores over an open fire and enjoy rich hot chocolate or other refreshments.

Winter WonderLights was recently named the best local event in Athens for the third year in the Athens Banner-Herald’s Community’s Choice Awards.
