Hola from Guatemala

Our mission team has arrived, and we were greeted warmly at the airport by Pastors Jamie & Jorge, Ingrid, and Walter.  Today has been a day of planning for house and school visits and buying supplies.  A highlight of my day…when we arrived at Seteca-our place of residence for a few days-we had four children hiding behind cars, and they would disappear when we would wave at them.  I decided to approach them and called out to them in the little Spanish that I know.  They came running up to me, and we had a few minutes “talking” to each other…a time to practice Spanish.  I can’t wait until we visit the schools; the children were so welcoming and full of smiles.
