Patzun, Chimaltenango

Today we spent our first full day in Patzun. In the morning we went to a new school outside of town. There are only 38 students who attend this school. There was no school there before this school year. The children did not go to school. The community came together and built the school for the children. Because they are so far from town the government does not support the school. We presented the gospel by telling a bible story…

Last Day in zone 21/First day in patzun

Today we traveled from Guatemala City to Patzun, a rural town in the mountains. With the high altitude came some fun suprises, such as hand sanitizer bottles exploding and soup sticking to our lips.
